SQUARE ENIX Brings ‘A New World’ Concert to Brasil Game Show 2025
The special edition of the official concert "A New World", featuring songs from FINAL FANTASY VII, will be held for the first time in Latin America
São Paulo, June 26, 2025 – Today, it was announced that the special edition of ‘A New World: intimate music from FINAL FANTASY’ concert will be one of the main attractions at this year’s Brasil Game Show, the largest gaming event in the Americas. Fans of SQUARE ENIX games and FINAL FANTASY VII will have another reason to get excited as this will be the first time the concert will be performed in Brazil at BGS on October 9th and 10th.
‘A New World’ features music arrangements that have resonated with generations of fans of the franchise, which has been beloved for nearly 40 years. At BGS, memorable tracks from FINAL FANTASY VII, as well as other major tracks from the franchise, will be performed.
Created by the producers of global touring phenomenon Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY, the ensemble will perform iconic themes celebrating FINAL FANTASY VII (including FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE and FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH) as well as music from through the beloved series.

FINAL FANTASY VII and the larger FINAL FANTASY franchise will be further highlighted as Director Naoki Hamaguchi, who earned global attention for his work on FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, will be attending Brasil Game Show. A self-declared fan of the game series, he began his career in the gaming industry in the 2000s and worked as a programmer on various projects, including the FINAL FANTASY XIII trilogy. After leading the MOBIUS FINAL FANTASY project, Hamaguchi took on the role of co-director of FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE and later directed FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, a critically acclaimed title with over 125 perfect review scores.
